Q. I already have a Citizens Bank app, do I need to re-download that app?
A. Yes, if you are using the old version of the app it will prompt you to re-download the new link when you login.
Q. What do I do with the check after I submit the deposit?
A. Once the deposit is successful, write ‘VOID’ on the front of the check and keep in a safe place for 30 days, then destroy.
Q. Will I receive an email confirming the receipt of the deposit?
A. You will receive an email from RemoteDeposit@cbtky.com confirming your deposit.
Q. Is the mobile deposit process safe?
A. Yes, our app uses secure and encrypted SSL technology to ensure the check images are only seen by those authorized to process your deposit.
Q. Why won’t my camera allow me to take a picture of my check?
A. You may have to allow your Citizens Bank app permission to use your camera. Simply go to Settings, scroll to the CBTKY app, then use the slider and allow the CBTKY app to access your camera.
Q. Is there a charge for using Mobile Deposit?
A. No! Mobile Deposit is 100% free to our customers.Normal message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
Q. What do I do if the app is not working correctly?
A. If the app is not operating correctly it is likely because of a temporary network problem. Please try again in a few hours. If it continues to not operate correctly please call us at 270-465-8193.
Q. When will I see my deposit in my account?
A. You will be able to view your deposit after we have completed our end of day processing. Deposits made after 4:00 p.m. EST will post to your account the following business day.
