Teller/Customer Service Representative (CSR)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under supervision of the Head Teller, the Teller/CSR delivers exceptional customer experiences by building a connection with clients to understand their financial needs. The Teller/CSR is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing transactions as well as ensuring customers are connected with the most appropriate banker to meet their needs. This position is also responsible for educating customers about the different product and service solutions as well as alternate channels of banking. Teller/CSRs ensure compliance with bank, regulatory guidelines as well as customer service standards.

The specific duties as a Teller/CSR will include:

  • Sell and/or refer bank's products and services to customers and prospects.
  • Demonstrate a continuously helpful, friendly attitude and adherence to established Service Quality Standards.
  • Receive and handle deposits of all types and ensure the proper endorsement on negotiable instruments within the deposits.
  • Cash checks and process other transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Adhere at all times to the check handling guidelines, established drawer limits, and the limitation of signing authority.
  • Reconcile cash and transactions to within the "teller balancing standards" and report results through submission of teller daily balance sheet.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area and ensure that all negotiable items, confidential records, and customer information are properly secured at all times.
  • Adhere to all security policies and procedures.
  • Follow bank guidelines before, during, and after a robbery.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and adhere to Bank policies and procedures, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act, as applicable.
  • Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties within the branch as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

As a Teller/CSR, you must have strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills including written and verbal. Specific qualifications for the Teller position include:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED, plus such practical knowledge and skills as would be learned on the job and through training.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Strong math skills, including calculator proficiency.
  • Other Job Qualifications: Demonstrated communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate critical thinking, be analytical, detail-oriented and organized. Must be an effective and efficient team player with good interpersonal skills, as well as negotiation skills. Able to meet fixed and changing deadlines and priorities and follow up consistently. Ability to lift and carry coinage weighing up to 30 pounds. Able to work weekends and as required or assigned.

  • Normal Bank Lobby and Drive-thru Window Conditions
  • After six months of demonstrated ability to carry out prescribed assignments, there is minimal supervision.

Data Processing Operator

Location: Campbellsville, KY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under supervision of the IT Manager, the Data Processing Operator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of operations in the Data Processing Center and IT Department. Responsibilities include: inputting, correcting and reviewing new and updated information. Data Processing Operators ensure compliance with bank, regulatory guidelines as well as customer service standards.

The specific duties as a Data Processing Operator will include:

  • Post various transaction files throughout the day.
  • Verify/Balance Teller Capture items.
  • Send/Receive Wire Transfers and ACH Files.
  • Prepare/Send customer ACH Origination files.
  • Assist employees with Computer/Printer/Application issues.
  • Assist Customers with online banking issues.
  • Set-up Remote Deposit users.
  • Approve Bill Pay user requests and balance daily.
  • Application updates and contact for System Upgrades.
  • Be part of end of day processing rotation (After Hours Monday-Friday).
  • Flexible schedule with occasional after hours or weekend projects.
  • Sell and/or refer bank's products and services to customers and prospects.
  • Perform other duties within the branch as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

As a Data Processing Operator, you must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills including written and verbal. Specific qualifications for the Data Processing Operator position include:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED, plus such practical knowledge and skills as would be learned on the job and through training.
  • Experience: Preferred IT Experience and Knowledge of Computer Troubleshooting.
  • Preferred Skills: Understanding of Network topologies and directories, Experience with Virtual Machines and Virtual Desktop administration, Experience with Jack Henry Core Director applications a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Strong math skills, including calculator proficiency.
  • Other Job Qualifications: Demonstrated communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate critical thinking, be analytical, detail-oriented and organized. Must be an effective and efficient team player with good interpersonal skills. Able to meet fixed and changing deadlines and priorities and follow up consistently. Able to work after hours as required or assigned.
